Some time ago, even without the ‘shock’ of this matter, my child said he didn’t want to go to school anymore, and I agreed.

Last summer vacation, I took him on a self-driving trip to the Western Regions. On the way back, I don’t know who mentioned the start of school, and he suddenly burst into tears.

I feel that if I continue to cooperate with the school’s pressure, he might break down.

Although education is important, he is my child first. I have to be responsible for him. Once something goes wrong, where is the teacher who loves him the most?

When asked why, the child said that the 10-minute break was deliberately extended to only 3 minutes, which was only enough to go to the toilet. His favorite PE class was also occupied. In a word, they had to stay in the classroom obediently, which was almost like being in jail.

Therefore, some timid children were afraid of being late and being punished to stand, so they could only hold their urine and not defecate.

According to a 2021 survey by the Chinese Journal of Digestion, the incidence of functional constipation in school-age children in China is as high as 12.2%, and the proportion of junior and senior high school students has reached an astonishing 16.7%.

The Ministry is very concerned about the students and issued the ’20 Prohibitions’ in March this year, of which the first three are:

• It is strictly forbidden to express words and deeds that are against the Party and socialism, defame the Party and the image of the country, slander the Party and national leaders or model heroes, split the country, distort history, and glorify aggression, or spread erroneous views through online media, forums, lectures, test papers, teaching materials, electronic products, and other public occasions.
• It is strictly forbidden to violate the provisions of the national curriculum plan and curriculum standards, teach beyond the standards and ahead of schedule, and squeeze the time of moral and legal (political thought), physical education and health, art (music, fine arts), labor, and comprehensive practical activities.
• It is strictly forbidden to assign homework that exceeds the total amount and duration stipulated by the education administrative department, or to assign repetitive and punitive homework.

I checked it against the requirements, and except for the first one, which was strictly enforced, the second and third ones were all violated.

Including the fifth prohibition, which strictly prohibits squeezing students’ break timein various ways,and not allowing students to leave the classroom during breaks.

I haven’t been trying to report and communicate.

Once, I braced myself and sent a message to the homeroom teacher, saying that as a parent, I didn’t value academics so much, and as long as it didn’t affect other students, I hoped that my child could go to and from school normally and didn’t need to copy homework if it wasn’t completed.

As a result, I didn’t wait for a reply, and my family and child received instructions from the homeroom teacher.

What the child received was: Parents who usually don’t care about your studies, don’t let them manage your studies.

Is this okay?

The family was ‘pumped up’: Your child is very smart and has great potential for cultivation.

It’s obvious, divide and conquer, break them one by one.

It’s exactly the same as the practice of criticizing individual students and pitting them against other students in class!

I felt a deep malice.

I found that my family agreed with her opinion and directly attacked me: Don’t understand the child, self-righteous, incomprehensible, unable to communicate!

I’m getting old, and I no longer have the ambition to uphold people’s hearts.

My child doesn’t want to go to school, I didn’t even think about it, I agreed.

My child is first a family member, then a student, and finally a successor to socialism.

In this regard, I hope that the education authorities, in addition to focusing on the first item, can also pay attention to the issue of children’s defecation and urination.

This is not difficult, and besides, you have already issued a ban, so please be more serious.
