Recently, a netizen posted a video on a short video platform claiming that in February of this year, their daughter, who was in her senior year of high school, was taken out by a female classmate during evening self-study to drink with men from the society. The daughter was then raped to death by two men in their early 20s after being intoxicated by multiple men.
On November 20th, Ms. Wang, the netizen who posted the message, told reporters that the two men involved in the case have been arrested by the procuratorate on charges of rape, and the case has been transferred to the Intermediate People’s Court of Longnan City, but the trial date of the case has not yet been determined. The People’s Procuratorate of Wudu District also confirmed to reporters, “There is this case.”
On November 20th, reporters contacted Ms. Wang, the netizen who posted the message. She said that her daughter, Xiaoxia, was a senior high school student at Liangshui Middle School in Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province. “At that time, she had a female classmate who was in love with a man outside the school. During the evening self-study on February 29th, this man outside the school and his friends invited my daughter’s classmate to go out for a drink, but my daughter’s classmate felt that it was not convenient for her to be the only girl, so she pulled my daughter to accompany her.”
Ms. Wang told reporters that there were seven men at the drinking scene later, who kept forcing Xiaoxia to drink. “After Xiaoxia was drunk, she was sent to the rented house of one of the men. My daughter’s classmate first returned to her own residence, and then returned to the rented house where my daughter was, saw that Xiaoxia was already asleep in bed, and then left. Then, two men in the rented house raped my daughter, but unexpectedly, the tragedy happened the next day.”
According to the police autopsy report provided by Ms. Wang, the Public Security Bureau of Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, conducted forensic pathological examinations on Xiaoxia, determined the cause of death, the causal relationship between the sexual assault and death, and the causal relationship between intoxication and death. The identification opinion: Xiaoxia died of mechanical asphyxiation caused by neck compression after acute alcohol poisoning, and acute alcohol poisoning was an auxiliary factor of death.
Ms. Wang said, “The two men only admitted to rape and did not admit that my daughter’s death was related to them.” Currently, the two men involved in the case, both in their 20s, have been arrested by the procuratorate on charges of rape, and the case has been transferred to the Intermediate People’s Court of Longnan City, and the trial date of the case has not yet been determined. On November 20th, a reporter called the People’s Procuratorate of Wudu District, Longnan City, and the staff said, “There is this case, and you need to bring relevant materials to inquire with the relevant departments of the unit for specific details.”
