A picture to start with.

The grand event of tens of thousands of college students in Zhengzhou cycling to Kaifeng at night has attracted the attention of the entire network. The ancient city of Bianliang once hoped to use this traffic heat to become popular, but it cooled down in just a few days.
Following the subtle dissuasion of many schools and the traffic management department’s announcement of a ban, a school in Henan took a bold move and launched a memorable “temporary exit permit” management system.
All students are not allowed to leave the school unless necessary. Those who need to leave the school due to urgent and special reasons must apply for approval and hold a temporary exit permit before they can leave the school.
It’s still the familiar formula, the familiar taste, and I believe everyone has a sense of déjà vu.
In the spirit of “all for the good of the students”, the result is a “lockdown system” that is almost “one-size-fits-all”.

In fact, there are also heated debates online about the recent popular group night riding.
Supporters believe that youth has no price, which is a manifestation of the passionate youth of college students, and also a release of study pressure.
Some people joked that this is a kind of social practice of “consumption downgrade” by Henan college students, from youth without price flying directly to Sanya, Hainan, to youth without price iron ingots until Lhasa, and then to youth without price night riding Kaifeng, what a vivid “consumption downgrade” social practice class.
Some opponents also believe that this kind of group night riding is purely adding to the chaos of society and adding to traffic congestion.
It should be said that both sides have their own reasons. College students’ “special forces-style cross-country cycling” not only increases life experience, but also drives the local cultural and tourism economy to a certain extent, which is the positive side.
Of course, large-scale gatherings of people, cross-city cycling, and road occupation do have certain safety hazards. This issue should be taken seriously, and positive guidance from all parties involved should be supported.

However, it is worth discussing to copy the previous control idea of “one-size-fits-all”.
It says “all for your good”, but the subtext is “you all have to listen to me honestly”.
On the one hand, relevant departments are opening the green light to actively “attract customers”, on the other hand, the traffic management department is “rejecting customers” in many ways, and on the other hand, the school is explicitly prohibiting “intercepting customers”. The operation of going in opposite directions is very puzzling.
Looking at this temporary exit permit system again, it may just be a small measure of the school’s new management method, but if you look back at the past and think deeply, you really dare not think about it.
