Yesterday I wrote a popular article, “From Zhang Linlin, who gave red codes to depositors, I felt the warmth of the organization”, which exceeded 100,000 views in less than two hours, and then it was deleted.
The deletion was very aggressive, without even a chance to appeal, it was directly erased. The basis for the handling is the “Administrative Provisions on Public Account Information Services for Internet Users”.
So, I seriously read this provision, read those clauses from beginning to end, I have never been so careful when buying insurance for myself, and then I came to a conclusion: where did I go wrong?
Which sentence or word I wrote violated the regulations?
Whether it was Zhang Linlin giving red codes to more than 1,000 village and town bank depositors, or her promotion to the head of the Zhengzhou Culture and Tourism Bureau, these are all public news, I was just faithfully describing them, is that not allowed?
She made such a big mistake, using the health code as a weapon, a shackle, a tool to restrict citizens’ legal travel, and a means to please superiors and solve problems for leaders, which is simply infuriating. But the organization still did not give up on her, and promoted her to the head of the Zhengzhou Culture and Tourism Bureau – I felt the warmth of the organization from this, is that not allowed?
These things all happened right under the noses of the common people, and then the common people just said a few words about the matter, is that not allowed?
Are we supposed to turn the platform into Lao She’s “Teahouse”, with signs everywhere saying “Don’t talk about state affairs”?
Moreover, what I’m talking about is not “state affairs”, but just a female official who was promoted in violation of regulations, why does it make so many people panic?
If it’s a violation, then may I ask: what procedures did Zhang Linlin’s promotion go through?
According to media reports, in May of this year, Zhang Linlin attended events as the Party Secretary of the Zhengzhou Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau.
Even staff of the Zhengzhou Culture and Tourism Bureau said in an interview with the media, “As far as I remember, Secretary Zhang Linlin took office in March.”
And the time of Zhang Linlin’s disciplinary action was June 22, 2022. Whether she took office in May or March of this year, it has not been two years, which does not meet the 24 months stipulated by law. In other words, her promotion is illegal.
It’s not a violation, it’s a crime, it violates the “Administrative Law on the Disciplinary Actions of Public Officials”!
Alas, things are so bizarre, the person who broke the law is rising step by step and became the head of the Culture and Tourism Bureau; the law-abiding person cannot speak out, otherwise it is a violation of regulations.
And there is no way to appeal. This is so frustrating.
Perhaps some people will say that my writing can only go as far as Zhang Linlin, and I shouldn’t involve her superiors – but, ladies and gentlemen, two years ago, Zhang Linlin was only a deputy director of the Social Control Guidance Department of the Zhengzhou Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, and she was about to give red codes to more than a thousand depositors – if there was no instruction from above, let alone whether she dared to make this decision, she didn’t even know who these thousand depositors were, how could she accurately give each person a red code?
These thousand depositors, they didn’t go to her house to ask for money, why did she rush to give these people red codes and make it difficult for them to move?
But in the end, when the matter was investigated, Zhang Linlin silently took all the blame, didn’t say a word, didn’t implicate a superior, this steadfastness and loyalty, the leaders all saw it.
As the saying goes, those who hold firewood for the crowd should not be frozen to death in the wind and snow; those who pave the way for freedom should not be trapped in thorns; those who take the blame for the leaders should not be sunk in officialdom. So Zhang Linlin has today’s rewards.
But no matter how touching it is, your promotion is illegal, this is a fact.
What, are we now restricted from criticizing illegal crimes?
Okay, then I won’t say anything, okay? I wish Zhengzhou Culture and Tourism, under the leadership of a criminal, will get better and better!
