Chen Dalong, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy President of the Intermediate People’s Court of Baishan City, Jilin Province, appealed for redress online, saying he is an old judge with 28 years of Party membership and 37 years of working experience, and wants to uphold the dignity of Party discipline and national law.
My name is Chen Dalong, and I am currently a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy President of the Intermediate People’s Court of Baishan City, Jilin Province. I am making a real-name report against Liu Mingli, Gao Tongguang, and Hao Shugang of the Baishan City Discipline Inspection Commission for acting as accomplices and thugs for illegal businessmen. They retaliated against a judge who was performing his duties normally. I offended illegal businessmen because I was performing my duties normally, and they colluded with Liu Mingli of the Baishan City Discipline Inspection Commission to retaliate against me. Liu Mingli, without approval, privately obtained my personal family property information and provided it to the businessmen.
The businessman then reported to the Baishan Discipline Inspection Commission, and the Baishan Discipline Inspection Commission placed me under residential surveillance without any evidence of my guilt. During the residential surveillance, I was cruelly tortured, forcing me to resort to a hunger strike. My eye surgery was also delayed due to the residential surveillance, causing damage to my eyes. My wife suffered severe depression due to repeated and prolonged questioning by the Discipline Inspection Commission.
Because they did not obtain evidence of my guilt, the Baishan Discipline Inspection Commission released me from residential surveillance after 82 days. Afterwards, they conducted a year-long, comprehensive investigation of me, but still found nothing. However, in order to cover up the truth of the retaliation and evade responsibility for the wrongful residential surveillance of me, the Baishan Discipline Inspection Commission continued to fabricate evidence in an attempt to transfer my case for prosecution.
I have repeatedly reported the situation to the Municipal Party Committee and the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, seeking help, but to no avail. As an old Party member and old judge with 28 years of Party membership and 37 years of court work, it is truly a last resort for me to seek help in this way. I implore the relevant departments to intervene in the investigation and restore the truth. If it is my problem, I should be punished according to the law; if I am innocent, please give me justice and uphold the dignity of Party discipline and national law.
According to inquiries, the whistleblower, Chen Dalong, seriously violated laws and discipline in February 2023 and was subject to disciplinary review and supervision investigation.
Recently, there have been numerous incidents of real-name reporting and appeals for redress on the internet, involving ordinary employees and leading cadres. The industries involved include public security, procuratorates, courts, justice bureaus, discipline inspection commissions, government agencies, and other departments, and even active-duty military personnel. There have also been incidents of on-duty police officers, and even leading cadres, making real-name reports and appeals for redress on the internet.
Prosecutors on duty, and the National Outstanding Prosecutor Tian Ying also appealed for redress on the internet and at the gate of the Municipal Intermediate Court.

Injustice to one person is a threat to everyone. When the law fails and corrupt elements run rampant, no one can guarantee that they will not be the next victim, the one who is wronged, no matter what industry you are in or what position you hold. Even if you are not, you cannot guarantee that your family or the next generation will not suffer misfortune. Therefore, in the face of injustice, the only thing we can do is to shout and fight, rather than remain silent and retreat.
