Lao Zhang’s Investment Notes | Can Athletes Not Enter Investment Banks?

Today I saw a freshman sports student who went to CITIC Securities for an internship and exposed three upcoming IPO projects in a video he took himself.

You say you are a second-generation rich kid, and you beat so many small-town exam takers to intern at a state-owned financial enterprise, and you also drive a Porsche. Wouldn’t it be better to be low-key or just flaunt your wealth?

Why do you still want to flaunt your so-called sense of existence online and expose your unit and customer information?

As the saying goes, you can’t have both fame and fortune. People are afraid of becoming famous, and pigs are afraid of becoming strong. This wave of presence you’ve created will not only make the person who introduced you in be held accountable, but in serious cases, it may also involve your “father”.

How I see it, it’s another version of “My father is Li Gang”.

It stands to reason that these second-generation officials should have been strictly educated, so how could they have developed such a bad habit?

Isn’t this creating internal contradictions among the people?

What about the ordinary people who can only be cattle and horses in the future if you do this?

Completely desperate!

No matter how hard you try, aren’t you still directly squeezed out by these second-generation rich kids?

The truth is cruel. As a beneficiary, you should enjoy it in secret. Why do you have to seek a sense of existence in front of the cattle and horses?

The cattle and horses could have deceived themselves and pretended not to know anything, burying their heads and pulling the mill. But you, well, you’re just short of openly and arrogantly “yelling” in front of the cattle and horses:

What’s the use of working hard? I’m a sports student, and I can still enter a domestic investment bank in my freshman year and participate in many core businesses?

Killing the heart!

Directly broke the defenses of many cattle and horses.

Many groups are discussing this matter, but I am very calm. Maybe I have long been accustomed to and accepted the existence of this privileged class.

I reminded in my group:

The world has never been fair. Birth, talent, appearance, and luck are different for everyone.

I never believe that God is fair. That’s the “consolation” for the cattle and horses.

These things, in fact, have nothing to do with us cattle and horses. At most, they will be fired, and the person in charge will be educated. After a while, this sports student will still go to other state-owned enterprises for “research”.

But at that time, they won’t post on Douyin or Moments.

I remember my fifth-grade teacher often told us repeatedly:

Who told you that you were born on this land? Everyone has to take the college entrance examination, and the Shandong college entrance examination score is high, so we can only work harder…

In short, accept your fate!

As a small-town exam taker from Shandong, I have been instilled with the idea of relying on myself since I was a child.

Similarly, when I first entered the university, my counselor exhorted:

I know that many of you are unwilling and came here to take the exam, but the advantage of this school is “strict standards and hard work”. We don’t care about the direction, we only care about pulling the cart. No matter how society develops, there will always be a need to pull the cart, right?

I can’t reproduce the original words of the above two teachers’ “teachings”, but the meaning must be correct. I was also deeply influenced by countless such teachers and have come to where I am now.

The good thing is that I have long recognized the reality that I am a cattle and horse, so I rarely feel cynical.

After all, I was also a classmate of the son of our county party secretary. He could “bully” a beautiful female reporter from Beijing in high school, which made me have a deep understanding of the powerful.

This “injustice”, just watch it as gossip. It’s better to take care of yourself, especially the middle-aged cattle and horses!
