Recently, some netizens shared that in Anhui Provincial Hospital, a 18-story building has 7 floors that are cadre wards.

The online picture shows that in this building, the negative one is the health care canteen and underground parking lot, the first floor is the interventional radiology center and CT room, and the 2nd to 9th floors are part of the outpatient clinics and operating rooms.

From the 10th floor to the 16th floor, all are marked as cadre wards, with the words “Geriatric Hospital Section 1-7 Wards” in parentheses.


According to the information, Anhui Provincial Hospital was formerly Hefei Christian Hospital, founded in 1898. In December 2017, it became a directly affiliated hospital of the University of Science and Technology of China. It has now developed into a provincial large-scale tertiary-A comprehensive hospital with advanced equipment, complete specialties, strong technical force, integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care, rehabilitation, and first aid.

Through the introduction of the International Medical Department on the hospital’s website, it can also be known that the building is the Medical Health Care Center building within the hospital headquarters, but no relevant introduction of the Medical Health Care Center was found.
