On the evening of May 13th, at nine o’clock, I suddenly found that the balance of my Everbright card showed zero, and the interface prompted me to go to the counter. I didn’t take it seriously at the time.
On the morning of May 14th, I went to the Everbright Bank counter and was told that my account was frozen. The freezing party was the Public Security Bureau of Keqiao District, Shaoxing City. However, the bank counter could only see this information and could not provide more, including the contact information of the so-called “Keqiao Public Security”.
At this time, I successively received text message prompts from other banks, and other bank accounts under my name also began to be frozen one after another.
I found the phone number of the Keqiao District Public Security Bureau online. After going through several layers of transfers, the last number admitted that there was a freeze based on the personal information I reported, but refused to disclose any information.
Instead, they said, “Then why did you go to commit fraud?”
I was so angry…
I happened to have an important meeting on the morning of the 14th, so I could only rush to attend the meeting.
During the meeting, I started to ask friends in Shaoxing to help me check.
The situation got worse: my credit card also started to be frozen; the mobile banking APP, which could still be logged in after being frozen, can no longer be logged in, and this interface prompt directly pops up.
In the afternoon, the situation began to become a little clearer. It should be a recent student fee, and the student’s parents’ account had a problem, which affected me.
I contacted the Keqiao Public Security number again, and the other party finally said, “If you are really in a hurry, go to the Huashe Police Station in Keqiao District to explain the situation.”
But who to look for at that police station? Or which department? They resolutely refused to say any more.
On the afternoon of May 15th, I rushed to the Huashe Police Station in Keqiao District, Shaoxing. I asked all the police officers and security guards in the reception area, reported my personal information, and could not find any information.
The on-duty police officer asked me to wait outside, and went into the office area to ask the whole police station. Finally, a very young police officer came out and said that he had frozen my account. He asked me if I knew Lin XX. I said I didn’t know!
He said that Lin XX reported being defrauded on the evening of the 13th, and according to her instructions, my account was frozen.
Soon, on my way back to Ningbo, this Lin XX called to apologize. It turned out to be a student’s parent!
It turned out that she was defrauded by telecommunications on the evening of the 13th. When she reported the case, the police officer called her to verify the recent transfer accounts one by one, and quickly asked her if this account was a scammer? That account is also a scammer? She said: This one doesn’t seem to know, that one also seems unfamiliar…
Then, when it came to my account, she said that mine was also an unfamiliar account, and that’s how I was blocked.
I was afraid that I couldn’t help but start scolding. I said you don’t need to explain to me. With this time, quickly communicate with that police officer and unfreeze my account as soon as possible.
Now, on the morning of the 16th, when I wrote this, all my bank accounts are still not unfrozen.
