My uncle received my brother’s phone call at the first time and went to the Chayang highway to ask the staff, and the staff said they had not received any notice! Dear netizens, I am very sorry for taking up your public resources here! I am very unfortunate to be a victim of the May 1st Meizhou collapse accident. I will talk about my personal experience and feelings about this accident here!
On the evening of April 30th, at 5:30 pm, I took my wife, son, and two mothers, a total of five people, and planned to go back to Meizhou from Foshan to see my grandparents and have some fun. After driving for nearly 8 hours, we arrived at the Chayang section of the highway, only a few kilometers away from the destination exit. Suddenly, the highway disappeared, and we fell directly into a deep pit nearly two stories high. I found that there were already several cars at the bottom of the pit. At that time, I was very clear-headed. I looked at the others in the car, and they were all unconscious. I immediately shouted at them, “Wake up!”! At this time, another electric car fell down and hit our roof and then fell next to our car.
The electric car burst into flames the moment it fell, and then I looked for my son. He was very lucky to have fallen from the second row to the windshield (because the car was inserted downwards at a 45-degree angle), and then I hugged my son and opened the car door and went out. I hugged him and climbed up, and put him on the relatively safe soil. At this time, I immediately rushed back to the car, pulled the rear door, and it was still locked. At the same time, I could clearly hear the sound of cars falling one after another and colliding. Then the fire of the electric car next to it had begun to spread (I was 1 meter away from the fire source and was burned by it). Helpless, I could only shout their names with heartbreaking cries. Finally, I could only hug my son and climb up the highway to escape to a safe place. Looking back, the huge fire pit was like hell on earth.
In this accident, I forever lost two mothers (my own mother and my mother-in-law) and my only wife in this life. My two-and-a-half-year-old son is still being treated in the ICU for a cerebral hemorrhage. After the fact, I thought that if this collapse was a “murderer’s hand”, then the electric car fire was a “murder weapon”. If there was no “murder weapon”, I believe that the number of people killed in this accident would be reduced by half or even lower. Car manufacturing is changing with each passing day, and electric cars are becoming more and more intelligent, but the most basic safety is ignored. After the collision, the fire started instantly, and the people inside couldn’t escape at all, and those who were unconscious couldn’t wait for rescue and were swallowed by the ruthless fire! The feeling of losing loved ones is unbearable, and I don’t want anyone to experience what I have experienced.
So I will never buy an electric car in this life, and my descendants will not buy it either. I implore you electric car companies to make electric cars that are safer and not so easy to catch fire?
