I can’t stand the John Lee government anymore! But there’s no way to complain. Now, as an ordinary Hong Kong citizen, I am making a complaint to John Lee on Weibo!
1) It is well known that there is a serious shortage of parking spaces in Hong Kong, but now, whether it’s a typhoon signal No. 10 or the middle of the night, the police are frantically issuing tickets, even deliberately ambushing at the entrance of public toilets to issue tickets, making it difficult for drivers who rely on driving for a living, and easily deducting points to suspend their licenses. Suspension of licenses means unemployment, causing many families to lose their economic support!
2) They specifically catch old people crossing the road. They even catch them when crossing the road when the green man is flashing. Each person is fined HK$2,000 without mercy, even robbing the money of the elderly! It’s blatant robbery!
3) In Hong Kong, cardboard boxes can be sold for money. Generally, shops put cardboard boxes at the door for the elderly to take and sell. Unexpectedly, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department issued a ticket to the shops for throwing garbage everywhere, with a fine of HK$3,000, and did not listen to any explanation.
4) In Hong Kong, after each restaurant closes every day, they will temporarily put the garbage at the door, and then designated personnel will take the garbage away and send it to the garbage station. However, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department deliberately ambushes at the door of the restaurant. When the staff temporarily puts the garbage at the door, they immediately rush out and issue a HK$3,000 ticket, slandering them for throwing garbage everywhere, and not listening to any explanation.
5) The broom in the video is shared by all the shops on the street and is used to sweep the street clean. The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department is constantly looking for trouble, and even a broom cannot be tolerated. They keep questioning whose broom it is, and obstructing the street will be fined HK$6,000.
6) Now there is another “garbage charging” plan that will harm the whole of Hong Kong. If you accidentally throw the wrong bag of garbage in the future, you will be fined HK$50,000 and sentenced to a maximum of six months in prison. In the case of severe financial deficit, the government also spent HK$5.5 billion of public funds to build a five-star luxury prison, which was originally designed for the people.
Because the Central People’s Government has repeatedly told Hong Kong people that the central government has fully taken over the governance of Hong Kong and wants the Hong Kong people to feel happy, but in the current Hong Kong, drivers who rely on driving for a living are frantically issued tickets, and if they accumulate enough points, they will have their licenses suspended and have to retake the course, otherwise they will be imprisoned; shops are easily slandered for obstructing the street and fined HK$6,000; temporarily putting garbage at the door will be fined HK$3,000; and if they throw the wrong garbage later, they will be fined and imprisoned. I want to ask the central government, with John Lee’s excessive and ruthless governance model, how can Hong Kong people feel happy? Many Hong Kong people who don’t know the situation will point the finger at the central government, saying that the Communist Party of China ordered John Lee to ruin the Hong Kong people!
Hong Kong under John Lee’s governance has successfully become a dead city. The people’s lives are filled with anxiety and suffering, and John Lee does not allow the people to have any dissenting voices on policies. He often uses “soft confrontation” and the “National Security Law” to intimidate the people, and in the case of severe financial deficit, he also uses HK$5.5 billion of public funds to build a five-star luxury prison.
After John Lee turned Hong Kong into a dead city, he just found a place to hold a night vibrant show to show off to the central government as a task! He invited mainlanders to Hong Kong to watch fireworks, but did not make proper transportation arrangements, causing mainland tourists to wait on the street for six hours and not be able to go home, scaring mainlanders from coming to Hong Kong for tourism again, and ruining the whole of Hong Kong! When the police catch a thief, they have merit and can be promoted and have their salaries increased, but John Lee is now not a police officer but the Chief Executive! It is not by intimidating the citizens, silencing the people, and self-congratulating and praising Hong Kong, and flattering the central government that he can be considered to have political achievements! Hong Kong people are being driven crazy by John Lee!
