The winter in Xinyu was consumed by a disastrous fire, which not only took away the warmth but also countless dreams.

This seven-story building is a microcosm of Xinyu City, combining the diversity of commerce and education.
The building houses not only entertainment internet cafes, but also educational institutions for undergraduate-to-graduate tutoring, as well as hotels providing accommodation.
Most importantly, the space rented to others on the negative first floor was used as a cold storage, and this became the fuse of the tragedy.
And the undergraduate-to-graduate tutoring institution on the second floor, its narrow exit became an insurmountable obstacle in the emergency escape.
Student communities across the country expressed their condolences to the victims through the power of the internet.
On social media, forums, and rallies, their eulogies and condolence messages converged into a sea of sorrow like a trickle.
They deeply understand the hardships and persistence behind the undergraduate-to-graduate exam, and empathize with the misfortune of these young people who are determined to pursue further education.
This tragedy shocked the whole country, and after the fire at Nanyang Yucai School and the collapse of the self-built house in Changsha, it once again reminded people of the importance of safety.
It is not only the pain of Xinyu City, but also a warning to the whole country. The seriousness of safety issues must not be ignored, and behind those cold numbers, is the cruel reality we have to face.
