Today, I’d like to share some workplace experience.
Bonhoeffer believed that: stupidity is more dangerous than evil, and is the enemy of good. Because humans can confront evil, and expose and prevent evil through the use of force. But we are helpless in the face of stupidity. Confrontation and force are of no avail here.
Especially in life and work, everyone will always encounter setbacks and tests of varying degrees. As long as you work in the workplace for a day, all kinds of difficulties and headaches will never be less.
In fact, everyone will always encounter different difficulties at work, but compared to the difficulties at work, it is often the teammates who are like pigs that make people feel the most powerless. Just like the internet slang people often say, don’t be afraid of enemies like gods, but be afraid of teammates like pigs.
I remember an elementary school textbook told a fable, a large cart was pulled in different directions by a swan, a prawn, and a fish respectively, and this cart could not move forward. This fable tells us that in work, with forces in different directions, how can the cart move forward?

Modern life is accelerating, and work pressure is sometimes very high. Many diseases also break out in this long-term accumulation. However, everyone does not know that working with stupid colleagues, the accumulated mental pressure may lead to a heart attack.
Hong Kong’s Oriental Daily News once proposed in a 2003 report that “working with stupid people is prone to heart attacks”. The report pointed out that according to a study conducted by the Swedish Lindberg University Medical Center, the results showed that “stupid people” are as harmful to health as cigarettes, caffeine or greasy food, and working with stupid colleagues may even cause heart attacks. The main reason for heart attacks is the huge pressure. In the workplace, pig teammates are the main source of mental pressure. Working with stupid people every day is already “one of the most destructive pressure patterns”.

And researchers also analyzed that “most people’s skills in dealing with stupid things are very poor”. Ordinary people can smoke less, improve their eating habits, and avoid heart attacks. But when facing “stupid people”, it is easy to keep dissatisfaction in their hearts, and finally “explode” when they can’t bear it, and the serious ones are directly angry and have a heart attack. Even if there are “Buddha-hearted” colleagues who help with the stupid colleagues encountered at work, this is also invisibly increasing their own pressure and becoming a group prone to potential heart disease.
I looked it up online, and one of the inducing factors of heart disease is great mental stress, so this report is not without reason.
People only have one life. Compared to work, life is still more important. Although this report is twenty years old, what it says is not without reason and can also resonate with many people in the workplace. Here I remind everyone that autumn has arrived, and winter is coming soon. The weather forecast says that a cold wave is coming and there will be a large-scale temperature drop. I have recently put on thermal pants. Everyone should pay attention to keeping warm and your health is important.
Work is important, and family and health are also important. For everyone’s own safety, it is better to cultivate one’s character. Even if we encounter colleagues who are more stupid in our work, we should be calm and never go against our own bodies.
