Disappears into the depths of the crowd
After the death of former Premier Li Keqiang, people spoke cautiously, expressing their deep sorrow.
In social media circles, people occasionally post old photos, further evoking people’s thoughts and memories.
In 1968, he took a group photo with friends when they were sent to the countryside, front row, right one. This is the earliest public photo that can be found.
1974, a group photo of the second-year high school students of Hefei No. 8 Middle School. It is said that he rarely sat in the C position, even when he was the governor of Henan, after some struggle, he sat in the middle of the front row. In this photo, he is in the back row, second from the right.
At that time, the junior high and high school system were both two years. He was a 1972 junior high school graduate and a 1974 high school graduate of Hefei No. 8 Middle School.
After graduating from high school, he was sent to Jiuzicun, Dingyuan County, Anhui Province. This is the old thatched house where he lived for a month when he went to the countryside as a youth. A friend took this photo when passing by today.

During his studies at Peking University, he published academic papers in newspapers and periodicals, such as “Discussion on the Process of Rule of Law System Control” and academic translations such as “Joint Venture Enterprises in Yugoslavia”. His doctoral dissertation “On the Three-Element Structure of China’s Economy” won the Sun Yefang Economic Science Award, the highest award in the Chinese economics community.
His mentor, Li Yining, compiled the graduation theses of three students into a book.
Look at the author’s signature, the student with the surname Li also became a vice chairman.
On January 10, 1982, on the eve of the graduation of the Class of 77 of the Department of Law of Peking University, he wrote a farewell message to a classmate who was the youngest in the class:
Pure and not lacking in fame
Kind and not losing strength
Elevating life above the mundane
And melting into society
This should be the common pursuit of our generation
After graduation, he stayed at the school and served as the secretary of the school’s Youth League Committee. “China Youth” is the magazine of the General League, and he was reported in the third issue of 1983.
Soon, he went to work for the General League.
Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, was historically Xiaoshan County, Shaoxing Prefecture. In the 1980s, it was the star Xiaoshan City in the development of the private economy. It is extremely rare for a county newspaper to receive his blessings.
During his work in the General League, he was still cautious and self-disciplined. The expression and attire of this person in the picture, wearing a Zhongshan suit and with a pen in his pocket, is even restrained.
In 1987, it is said that he rode a bicycle, carrying the manuscript of “Yes Minister” translated by his wife Cheng Hong, and knocked on the doors of publishing houses to seek publication opportunities.

In 1997, he taught economics to undergraduates.
Then he went to work in the local area, all the way to the top.
On July 17, 2002, then-Premier Zhu Rongji inspected the flood control work of the Yellow River at Huayuankou, Zhengzhou, and he, as the governor, gave a lecture.
Also at Huayuankou, this extremely precious group photo was left: Zhu, Wen, and him (Zhu is behind him, bowing his head and smiling), three premiers in the same frame.
On August 8, 2003, he, who was already the secretary, conducted research in Xinxiang, Henan, and talked with the villagers of Mazhuang Village, Qiaobei Township, Yuanyang County.
At that time, southern Henan, northern Anhui and other places were infected with a large number of HIV infections due to blood infections, shocking the world.
Although he turned the tide and stopped the sale of blood, Henan was stigmatized from then on, and everyone was terrified. When I went to interview there in 2007, the infected people reached out for money, and I deeply felt the bad social customs.
He was hailed as an expert in solving problems, but he was often exhausted on the road to disaster relief. This is the site of the flood disaster when he was the secretary of Henan in 2003.
May 19, 2008, to the earthquake-stricken area of Sichuan to coordinate work.
On July 28, 2008, when he visited the frontline workers at the Tashan Coal Mine of Datong Coal Mine Group in Shanxi, he poured hot water himself to make instant noodles.
In August 2009, when passing by the yard of Yang Fu, a resident of the shantytown in Heilongjiang, he chatted with the local residents across the wall.
August 3, 2014, a 6.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in Ludian County, Yunnan. Early on the 4th, on his way to the disaster area, he fell due to the slippery mountain road and muddy roads. Then he bent down and washed his hands with muddy water (news screenshot).
November 20, 2014, he went to Yiwu International Trade City to inspect, holding a rattle drum, which symbolizes the commercial tradition of Yiwu. Accompanying him was the later successor, Premier Li.

August 16, 2015, a major explosion occurred at the Tianjin Chemical Plant, and he went to the scene to inspect.
January 27, 2020, inspected the Jin Yintan Hospital, which was feared.
In mid-to-late August 2020, the Yangtze River No. 5 flood and the Jialing River No. 2 flood passed through Chongqing, and the flood situation was rare and the disaster was serious. On the 23rd, he inspected the disaster-stricken areas. The person accompanying him on the right is Director Chen.
In July 2021, Henan suffered a historically rare and severe torrential rain, resulting in severe flooding disasters, leading to the downfall of a number of officials. From August 18 to 19, he inspected the disaster area in Henan.
