I work for an overseas company and was fined 1,058,000 yuan by the Shuangqiao Public Security Bureau of Chengde, Hebei for accessing the international internet. I will file an administrative lawsuit locally after National Day, and everyone is welcome to watch the live trial. If any lawyers are willing to represent me, please contact me, thank you~
——Update——
Regarding “suspected involvement in terrorist activities”, this is just a process for printing the bank card income flow, and it has nothing to do with this matter.

Thanks to the support and care of the vast number of netizens, the following is the general process of this matter:
In September 2022, the local security department found me, and they believed that a Twitter account that published a large number of xxxx statements belonged to me. I stated that I am currently working for an overseas company, and my personal Twitter only occasionally likes and forwards the company’s tweets, and the tweets that published xxxx do not belong to me. At the same time, I introduced the work situation to them and showed the information of my personal Twitter account. They seized my mobile phone, laptop, and several computer hard drives that day, and returned these devices about a month later.
In April and July of this year, I made several more statements, detailing the work situation, and provided the bank card for receiving payments, the company’s registration information in the country where it is located, the consulting contract I signed with the company, and other proof documents. During this period, the public security department stated that the Twitter matter had been investigated and had nothing to do with me, but the act of circumventing the wall would be punished, and my income would be considered illegal income.
In August of this year, the penalty decision was officially issued: circumventing the wall is illegal, and the income after circumventing the wall is illegal income.
On September 5th of this year, I applied for an administrative review. After communicating with the review department, they basically agreed with the opinions of the public security organs, and I will need to go to the court for administrative litigation in the future.
During this period, I repeatedly stated that github.com and the company’s after-sales support website can be accessed without circumventing the wall, and writing code is also done on a local computer without circumventing the wall, but these explanations were not accepted.
Next, I will entrust a lawyer to actively prepare for the administrative litigation.
