According to a report by the Russian Satellite News Agency, since China released the “Position on the Political Settlement of the Ukrainian Crisis”, the threats made by the United States and its Western allies against China have intensified, claiming that new sanctions will be imposed if aid is provided to Russia.
Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the Ukrainian presidential office, claimed in a television program that (Ukraine) would make an “aggressive response” to China if major powers supplied weapons to Russia.
In response, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on Ukraine’s remarks at a press conference during a ministerial meeting in New Delhi, saying: “I doubt the sanity of those who threaten China. In principle, no one should be threatened, but it is hard for me to understand threatening China in modern conditions. Of course, our Western counterparts have seriously ‘deviated’ from diplomacy, and I think they have put diplomacy aside, only intimidating and threatening.”
The above words were all spoken by Russians, which is a kind of diplomatic support for major powers.
