Preface
In 2020,
January 23,
2:00 AM,
Wuhan announced:
Closing all channels out of Wuhan.
On the eve of Chinese New Year,
Wuhan was locked down.
This is the first time in human history,
for a city with a population of tens of millions,
the most stringent epidemic prevention measures were taken.
So far,
It’s been exactly three years!
This article is dedicated to Li Wenliang and all the medical staff who sacrificed their lives in the fight against the new coronavirus, to the more than 3,000 victims who died in the Wuhan epidemic, and to the approximately 100,000 victims who died in the nationwide epidemic over the past three years.

In 2020,
January,
The police issued a notice stating that the remarks of Li Wenliang and the other eight doctors were untrue and were characterized as rumors.
Two days later,
Li Wenliang and the other eight doctors who spread the epidemic information were taken to the Zhongnan Road Police Station of Wuchang District, Wuhan City, to receive a reprimand.
The reprimand stated: If you stubbornly stick to your own opinions, do not reflect on your mistakes, and continue to engage in illegal activities, you will be subject to legal sanctions!
Subsequently,
National media, multiple channels, reported the news that Li Wenliang and other eight rumor-mongers were reprimanded.
Subsequently,
The Wuhan Health Commission issued a notice, stating that the epidemic was “controllable and manageable”.

Li Wenliang passed away at the age of 34. Netizens across the country spontaneously lit candles in their WeChat Moments to mourn Dr. Li Wenliang.
During his illness, Dr. Li Wenliang was interviewed by Caixin magazine, and he said: “A healthy society should not have only one voice”.
April 2,
Li Wenliang was posthumously recognized as a martyr.

From April 8, 2020,
to the Spring Festival in 2022,
During this period, there were occasional sporadic outbreaks of the epidemic in China, but they were quickly dealt with. There were occasional lockdowns, but most places were not affected by the epidemic. Most people could go out without wearing masks, without nucleic acid tests, and without lockdowns. They could go to work, play, and live normally, and the economy led the world. In contrast, the virus raged around the world during this period.
Objectively and fairly speaking, the epidemic prevention measures during this period were undoubtedly a victory.

In 2022,
February 16, the Huating Hotel officially closed for renovation. The Huating Hotel, which had not yet been renovated, was requisitioned as an isolation hotel.
Because the hotel was relatively old, the air conditioning and ventilation system was connected, and there were no filters. The virus spread rapidly in the hotel, and the infected staff continued to take the subway to and from work without being aware of it. The epidemic spread rapidly in Shanghai. The Huating Hotel became the fuse for the outbreak of the epidemic nationwide.

March 11,
All schools in Shanghai were closed.
March 14,
All passenger transport in Shanghai was suspended. Many people began to plan to hoard vegetables. Everyone tacitly understood.
March 15,
Shanghai released the latest news, and the most critical sentence was: “Currently, we do not have a ‘lockdown’, and it is not necessary to ‘lockdown’ now.” It made people feel uneasy.
March 16,
Shanghai issued a notice to conduct full-scale nucleic acid testing. It opened the prelude to the nationwide “full-scale nucleic acid testing”.
March 27,
8:23 PM,
Shanghai released an explosive notice that from 5:00 AM on March 28, Shanghai would implement a phased lockdown management based on the Huangpu River, with communities closed and transportation suspended. It opened the prelude to the nationwide “lockdown silent management”.
The people of Pudong who heard this news immediately took action and began to purchase and hoard vegetables. No one cared about the price anymore, and taking whatever they could get became the main theme. The panic buying in Pudong opened the prelude to the nationwide frenzy of “hoarding vegetables, hoarding food, and hoarding medicine”.

In 2022,
September 18,
Midnight,
A bus carrying people in quarantine for the epidemic overturned on the Sancha-Lichang Expressway in Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It caused 27 deaths and 20 injuries. It shocked the whole country.
In 2022,
November 23,
The Foxconn incident in Zhengzhou, Henan, where tens of thousands of people walked back to their hometowns. It shocked the whole country.
In 2022,
November 24,
At 7:49 PM,
A high-rise residential building in Jixiangyuan community, Tianqiao District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang, suddenly caught fire. The fire caused a serious consequence of 10 deaths and 9 injuries. This accident became a landmark event in the shift of China’s epidemic prevention policy, opening the prelude to the nationwide opposition to “mandatory quarantine”, opposition to “full-scale nucleic acid testing”, and opposition to “silent management”.

In 2022,
November 27,
The property management of various residential areas in Beijing, based on the notices from the neighborhood committees, required all homeowners to stay at home for quarantine. This operation was understood as “Beijing’s lockdown.”
This move was strongly opposed by residents of various residential areas in Beijing.
Subsequently, starting from Tiantongyuan, the largest residential area in Beijing, it quickly spread throughout the residential areas of Beijing. People, based on the law, fought against the property management and neighborhood committees, demanding the removal of the mandatory quarantine barrier facilities. During the entire process of resistance, residents took the initiative to call the police to the scene. Under the supervision of law enforcement officers, residents of the residential areas conducted legal education for the property management company and neighborhood committee personnel, achieving a complete victory.
In the afternoon of the same day, the mandatory quarantine measures in all residential areas of Beijing were lifted, and residents could freely enter and exit the residential areas.
The Beijing incident is a landmark event marking the turning point of the epidemic in our country. The actions of Beijing residents reflect the most legitimate, standardized, effective, and highest level of residents’ rights protection and expression of opinions in accordance with the law.

In 2022,
December 7,
Under the dual pressure of the economy and public opinion, and based on a comprehensive assessment that the mortality rate of Omicron has greatly decreased worldwide, our country’s epidemic policy officially shifted. Nucleic acid testing, mandatory quarantine, health codes, travel codes, makeshift hospitals, and “Big Whites” (referring to the medical staff in white protective suits), etc., became history.
December 13,
Our country stopped releasing epidemic data.
In 2023,
January 8,
Our country officially implemented Class B management for the new coronavirus. This marked the official opening up of our country’s epidemic prevention policy.
(Twelve)
Unexpectedly, since the opening up of the epidemic in December 2022, it spread rapidly across the country within a short period of time, at a speed that subverted all human understanding of infectious diseases.
Due to the official non-disclosure of epidemic data, according to the infection situation from various channels, the national infection rate reached over 90%, exceeding the infection rate of all other countries in the world. The high infection rate once again subverted human understanding of infectious diseases. Panic buying and hoarding of medicines reappeared across the country.
From December 8, 2022, to January 12, 2023, a total of 59,938 deaths related to COVID-19 infections occurred in medical institutions nationwide.
From January 13 to 19, a total of 12,658 deaths related to COVID-19 infections occurred in hospitals nationwide.
The number of deaths is shocking.

January 22,
Spring Festival Gala. As predicted by most people, the fight against the new coronavirus did not become the theme of the Spring Festival Gala that year. There was very little content related to the epidemic in this Spring Festival Gala, only a few minutes of lines spoken by the host, which included: “Every difficulty can be overcome, every task can be accomplished.”

On the morning of January 24,
The official of a place in Jiangxi issued a notice that a full-scale nucleic acid test would be conducted on the 25th and 26th. As soon as this news came out, it quickly topped the trending search list, once again tightening the nerves of the people across the country. Fortunately, this news was deleted in the afternoon, half a day after it was released.
January 24,
Due to Chinese tourists evading South Korea’s COVID-19 quarantine policy, they were deported. This news also indicates that in the eyes of other countries, the COVID-19 epidemic in our country has not ended.
(Fifteen)
Has the COVID-19 epidemic really ended?
Will the COVID-19 epidemic suddenly break out again?
Viruses have existed on Earth for over 4 billion years, and compared to viruses, we are just newcomers.
Humans will eventually coexist with viruses,
All things grow together,
The Tao runs parallel without conflict!!!
