Feng Junqi | Zhong County Cadres – Peking University Doctoral Dissertation

“Zhong County Cadres” is a 250,000-word doctoral dissertation by Feng Junqi of the Department of Sociology at Peking University, completed in 2010. The dissertation takes “Zhong County”, a county under “Beishan City” in Henan Province, as its prototype, and examines and studies the local political ecology. The research began in 2008 and lasted for two years, during which 161 cadres at the deputy section level and above were interviewed in “Zhong County”.
