Liu Shaotang (October 14, 1921 – February 10, 2000), formerly known as Liu Zongxiang, pen names Li Guangyu, Wu Zhongyou, was a biographer originally from Lutai, Hebei, and born in Jinzhou, Liaoning. He was a co-founder of the magazine Biography and Literature, and served as the president and publisher of the magazine. He was once known as the “Curator of the Unofficial History Museum” for his personal contributions to modern Chinese history.
