1. Establishment of the Chinese Parliament: Grand Scale and Entry Threshold

On January 4th of this year, the Preparatory Committee of the Chinese Parliament was officially established at the June Fourth Memorial Hall in Los Angeles, USA. The meeting was quite grand, with many heavyweight guests from the overseas democracy movement attending to support the event. For example, Wang Dan, a leading figure in the overseas democracy movement, participated in the meeting and served as the general convener.

I took a look at this meeting; they prepared for several months and passed the constitution of the Chinese Parliament. The constitution is also very, very detailed, stating that the Chinese Parliament is not a power organization, not for you to争权夺利 (vie for power and profit), but to implement the process of transforming China’s democratic system from an abstract concept into an executable and procedural one, and to be an engineer in the process of promoting China’s democratic movement.

So they mentioned that they have four missions, the most important of which are two: the first is to complete the preparation of the overseas Chinese parliamentary system; the second is to organize voters to conduct elections. Organizing voters to conduct elections, then the question immediately arises: where do the voters come from? That is, overseas, all these overseas Chinese can participate in the election. He said that their initial plan was to develop a thousand people, and the long-term goal was to develop a maximum of ten thousand people. Then he also said that this ten thousand is not a ceiling, the more the better, and maybe the more, it is possible to have 1.4 billion people.

Then there is an immediate problem: when you hold this parliamentary election overseas, how do you identify the qualifications of the voters? The CCP also often undermines the overseas democracy movement. If you don’t have this identification system, then the CCP sends people to vote, and then the leadership of your Chinese Parliament will not be stolen by the CCP?

So during this meeting, the attending guests discussed a very serious topic. They said that if we want to identify the qualifications of the voters, we can only do it by charging money, charging one hundred US dollars per person. If you charge one hundred US dollars per person, then you can identify them. Think about it, CCP, if you want to send people, each person pays one hundred US dollars, which is also a very heavy burden for the CCP. So, after discussion among the attending guests, a resolution was finally formed, with a few votes against, I forgot, and finally passed that when the Chinese Parliament holds elections in the future, each person must pay one hundred US dollars.

2. Organizational Procedures: Preventing Personal Worship and Life Tenure

During this process, they also discussed some more important matters. For example, the overseas democracy movement organizations have developed and failed repeatedly over the years, and have not formed any momentum, and then they often split. Now they have also taken some preventive measures, what did they say?

They said that the Chinese Parliament cannot be personalized and cannot create the myth of a leader. For example, Wang Dan, right? That is, he is highly respected, but personal worship cannot be practiced. Also, for example, life tenure cannot be practiced. Xi Jinping practices life tenure, and you see, they cannot practice life tenure either, which is much more advanced than the CCP’s system. Second, they cannot steal power, nor can they slander the leaders of the Chinese Parliament at will. At the same time, they do not issue national-level political declarations. In the past, those overseas democracy movement organizations would often issue something like a great alliance of China, something with a national color, and it didn’t work out, and it ended up being a laughingstock. This time they also don’t issue national-level political declarations, you see, they are doing it with great fanfare.

During this meeting, Wang Dan served as the general convener, and Geng Guanjun was elected as the secretary-general, and Yuan Jue was elected as the deputy secretary-general. I checked Yuan Jue, and since October of last year, when the Preparatory Committee of the Chinese Parliament drafted this constitution, he was the host. It should be said that he still holds a very important position in this Chinese Parliament, which is equivalent to the level of a party and state leader.

3. Bad News: Yuan Jue’s Arrest and Controversy over Diplomatic Immunity

But unexpectedly, just over half a month after the establishment of the Chinese Parliament, bad news came. On January 24th, Ye Gongzi Ye Rong, the special envoy to New York of the Manchukuo and the founder of the Chinese Citizen Action Party, posted a video on Twitter: “I am Ye Gongzi, reporting an emergency, democracy activist Yuan Jue was arrested after reporting to ICE.”

He said there that the Chinese Parliament, as a national-level organization, Yuan Jue is also a member of the Chinese Parliament, and members of the Chinese Parliament should be granted diplomatic immunity in the United States, and there should be no state confrontation with state, hoping that ICE will release Yuan Jue as soon as possible. These words are very serious. The implication is that if you, the United States, arrest Yuan Jue now, arrest this party and state leader of the Chinese Parliament, you are equivalent to violating international law. The Chinese Parliament is also a high-level member of a national organization, and you, the United States, just arrest him, right? Isn’t this a violation of international law? The words are quite serious.

4. Yuan Jue’s Background: From History Teacher to High-Level Democracy Activist

Of course, we also add some information here to introduce Yuan Jue. Yuan Jue is 45 years old this year, and he was a history teacher in China. When this history teacher usually teaches history, he may have to look at some documents, and the more he looks, the more he feels that the Communist Party relies on lies to rule every day. He doesn’t talk about the June Fourth Incident, and he doesn’t talk about the Great Famine. Then he is definitely very dissatisfied with the CCP’s rule.

Later, wasn’t there the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Movement? Because he worked in Guangzhou, he crossed the border to Hong Kong to participate in the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Movement and saw the police suppressing the Hong Kong citizens. Then, he chatted with the Hong Kong citizens, and one of the Hong Kong citizens told him that he lived in a house of more than 30 square meters. He was very surprised at the time, saying how can you live in 30 square meters? People said that 30 square meters is still good in Hong Kong. So he learned that many Hong Kong people participated in the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Movement, and they were also dissatisfied with the long-term policies of the Hong Kong government. After participating in the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Movement, he spent 80 yuan to buy a bowl of beef noodles in Hong Kong, and ate it and returned to Guangzhou.

Then, after returning to Guangzhou, in 2022, didn’t Guangdong have the White Paper Movement? At that time, it was happening all over the country, and he claimed that he also participated during the pandemic. After he finished participating, the police looked for him, and after they looked for him, he felt that he couldn’t stay in China. So in 2023, he went to the United States through Ecuador’s route.

After arriving in the United States, he immediately joined the Chinese Democratic Party. The Chinese Democratic Party should be said to be the most powerful among the various political parties of the overseas democracy movement. Because Yuan Jue was a history teacher in China, he was appointed as the Minister of the Party History and Regulations Department of the Chinese Democratic Party, and also the Minister of the Training Department of the Los Angeles Party Department, and his rank was quite high. At least it is equivalent to a ministerial level, you think, the Minister of the Party History and Regulations Department.

Then I took a look, and his activities in the United States are also very active. For example, on October 1st of last year, he held a protest in front of the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, and Yuan Jue went there to protest. He said that there is no National Day, only National Mourning, the implication is: the Communist Party, you have stolen political power, and after you have stolen political power, the Chinese people are suffering and oppressed, so there is only national mourning and no National Day. Then in November, the Los Angeles Party Department held a commemoration of the third anniversary of the White Paper Movement in front of the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles, and he was also the host. As the host, I saw that there were people on the scene who were filled with righteous indignation, shouting “Down with the CCP”, “Heaven destroys the CCP”, “Xi Jinping step down”, etc., and the slogans were still very, very intense.

After Yuan Jue arrived in the United States, he also did one thing, which also caused some media reports. He designed a set of anti-communist poker cards, which depicted Xi Jinping with the virus, and then Cai Qi giving him a foot massage, etc., with more than 50 cards, each of which satirized the CCP’s autocratic rule in the form of cartoons. He said that after he finished the poker cards, the CCP found out, and it seemed that they also looked for his family in China. He also appealed in the media, saying that the CCP should not mess with his family. So you can see that after Yuan Jue arrived in the United States, he quickly rose to the high level of the democracy movement and engaged in very intense anti-communist activities. When he was arrested, Ye Gongzi Ye Rong was definitely feeling the same way.

5. Frequent Arrests: Linghu Changbing and ICE Enforcement

He said in this video: Please the United States pay attention to the people in the United States who resist the CCP, because there are not many people in the United States who resist the CCP, and don’t arrest them anymore, and there will be no more people who resist the CCP. Then you think about it, isn’t this a bit of a feeling of being in the same boat? Right.

Of course, I saw many people mocking him underneath, saying: “Look, they are all gone. Look at these anti-communist organizations, they were not taken down by the CCP in China, but were arrested by the US government first, these party and state leaders of the overseas democracy movement.” Of course, it’s not just Yuan Jue, other high-level figures of the overseas democracy movement at the party and state leader level have been frequently arrested recently.

That is, this Ye Gongzi Ye Rong, on October 24th of last year, he also posted a video: “Everyone must be careful of ICE recently, ICE is arresting people very severely now, there is no pattern, everyone must be careful. Our Chinese Citizen Action Party’s Linghu Changbing was just arrested by ICE.” Why? This Linghu Changbing has a relationship with him. Isn’t he the founding chairman of the Chinese Democratic Action Party? This Linghu Changbing is a founding elder of their Chinese Democratic Action Party, and does he have a connection with party affairs? As a result, he suddenly couldn’t get in touch with him. After he couldn’t get in touch with him, he finally asked around and found out that this Linghu Changbing had been arrested by ICE in Arizona and was locked up in an immigration prison.

Very anxious. Then he also appealed to everyone in this video: “Everyone should be careful recently. Starting from yesterday, I have successively called and notified the public and secret党员 (party members) of the Chinese Citizen Action Party in California, Texas, etc., that is, near Arizona, and told them to be especially careful during this period, and not to go out casually. ICE is arresting people more fiercely now, and it is better to go out less for general life issues, but if anti-communist activities can be participated in, because I have observed that there are still relatively few people arrested at the scene of anti-communist activities.”

6. Linghu Changbing’s “Walking Line” Journey

What is the background of this Linghu Changbing? This Linghu Changbing is quite young, in his twenties. According to his own account, he seemed to be a worker in China in the past, and he also couldn’t stand the CCP’s rule. Later, he went to the United States through Ecuador’s route. On the way, he used his mobile phone to shoot a documentary, which is equivalent to filming the entire process of walking the line. The border between Nicaragua and Honduras, now you have to walk a small road to the highway to take the bus, it may take seven minutes, it may take five minutes, it may take ten minutes.

Later, he went from Quito, Ecuador, all the way to Arizona, USA. Back then, when he was in Mexico, he got a motorcycle and traveled more than four thousand kilometers in Mexico in ten days. The whole process was also full of thrills. The border wall is right there, have you seen it? Have you seen that wall?

After arriving in the United States, as everyone knows, after entering the United States from this walking line, you must first go to the immigration bureau to surrender. After surrendering, he was locked up for more than a month, and then after a terrifying interview, he was released. After being released, his immigration court appointment was scheduled for 2027. According to US law, he can get a work permit and work.

7. Chinese Democratic Action Party: Party Classes, Secret Party Members, and Departmental Structure

After Linghu Changbing arrived in the United States, he also joined this democracy movement organization, who did he join? He joined their Chinese Democratic Action Party. This Chinese Democratic Action Party was established by Ye Gongzi Ye Rong in 2023. This Ye Gongzi Ye Rong is actually quite a character, he was originally in China, and later he immigrated to Singapore, and then immigrated to the United States from Singapore. I see that he often talks about things in China sometimes, he says that the CCP persecutes his family in China, and he hopes that the CCP will not look for his family, because he shouts “Heaven destroys the CCP” in the United States every day, so you don’t mess with our family in China. Then he organized some people to protest at the United Nations, for example, when Li Qiang went to the United Nations to give a speech, he organized a group of people to take the subway to protest at the gate of the United Nations.

In 2023, he established this Chinese Democratic Action Party. This Chinese Democratic Action Party, he did it very seriously, he said: “We are now preparing the Chinese Democratic Action Party, the goal of this Chinese Democratic Action Party is to fight against the CCP, heaven destroys the CCP.” He has his own website, and he writes some political articles. In these political articles, he said: the Communist Party has 98 million党员 (party members), all of them must be killed, if you don’t want to be killed, you should quit the party now, and you will all be killed when the revolution succeeds.

Now in the United States, he is preparing to establish this Chinese Democratic Action Party, and the goal is to overthrow the CCP. He said that if you join the Chinese Democratic Action Party in the United States, you must participate in an anti-communist activity every month, and you must also participate in a party class every month. He said that if China is democratized in the future, you must participate in party classes every Friday evening from 7 to 10 p.m., and you must participate in volunteer work and serve the people. You see, this is very well designed. The party has one chairman and two vice-chairmen. Each term is four years, the same as the US president, and can be re-elected for two terms, and there is no life tenure, which is also very, very formal.

Their goal is to recruit fifty party members and thirty secret party members. He has a very distinctive feature here, he said that fighting against the CCP is very dangerous, so there are many secret party members among their party members. These secret party members, he said: you can use an alias and register your party card here. During the process of the party card, others cannot inquire. He also said that secret party members must strictly abide by the party’s secrets, and cannot inquire about each other, to prevent the CCP from infiltrating here.

The organizational structure is also very complete, with a party membership department, a propaganda department, a strategic department, an intelligence department, and more than a dozen other departments. During this process, you think about it, this whole Chinese Democratic Action Party was officially established in 2023. There were seven people when the party was founded, the whole Chinese Democratic Action Party. Then everyone first voted to elect what the party is called. During the voting process of these seven people, Ye Gongzi Ye Rong, as the convener of the party, the Chinese Democratic Action Party finally won with two votes, and finally the party was named the Chinese Democratic Action Party. He created a website himself and hoped that everyone would donate to them. Then this Linghu Changbing joined the Chinese Democratic Action Party, so he said that he is also an elder of the party. So after Linghu Changbing was arrested, Ye Gongzi was anxious, saying that he couldn’t find Linghu Changbing’s lawyer now, and he didn’t know whether Linghu Changbing’s lawyer was Chinese or what kind of person, and everyone who knew should quickly report to the party chairman, and then he contacted Linghu Changbing’s lawyer to see if he could rescue Linghu Changbing.

8. Rescuing Chen Weijie: Senior Cadre and Accusations of Utterly Inhumane

Then, just a month ago, on September 21st of this year, this Ye Gongzi Ye Rong also posted a rescue video. Who did this video rescue? It’s called Chen Weijie. He called for the rescue of Chen Weijie, who was arrested by ICE on September 9th and is currently being held in an immigration prison in Arizona. Chen Weijie is one of my most important anti-communist partners, and he is a staunch anti-communist.

This Chen Weijie is a senior official of the Chinese Human Rights and Democracy Alliance, the vice-chairman of the Chinese Human Rights and Democracy Alliance, and also the vice-chairman of the Democratic Front. What is the background of this Chen Weijie? This Chen Weijie is a fitness coach from Guangdong, and he seems to run a gym or something like that. He also went to Hong Kong during the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Movement and saw the CCP’s suppression of the democrats in Hong Kong, and he felt that China was not good. He came early, it seems that he went to the United States through the walking line in 22. After arriving in the United States, he joined this Chinese Human Rights Alliance, and then he often participated in some anti-communist activities.

You can see that they are giving a speech in front of the Chinese embassy, Chen Weijie is giving a speech: “The Communist Party of China basically has no friends in the world now. And now our US government is using economic sanctions against it, which is just letting it bleed to death slowly, this is a good measure to prevent it from jumping over the wall and using nuclear weapons.” The speech said that the CCP’s live organ harvesting is utterly inhumane. I saw that when he was speaking, a gust of wind came and blew down their signs, and then someone quickly helped them put the signs back up. So this Chen Weijie is also considered a senior cadre in this Chinese Human Rights Protection Alliance. If it is the Chinese Human Rights Protection Alliance, then you think, if he is the vice-chairman, then he is also almost at the level of a party and state leader. Then he also called for the urgent release of Chen Weijie, saying that this Chen Weijie is a very good anti-communist partner of his.

9. Yan Youxin and the China New People’s Party: Sixth-Ranked Founding Elder

In addition to Chen Weijie, in fact, it’s not just this Ye Gongzi Ye Rong who has been calling for it recently. Everyone has counted, that is, there are a large number of similar leaders at the party and state level of the overseas democracy movement who have been arrested.

Among them, for example, one is called Yan Youxin. Yan Youxin’s qualifications are also very old, and he is also older. It is said that he also engaged in some protest activities in China, and then went to the United States. After he went to the United States, he joined a party called the China New Era People’s Party, called the China New People’s Party. This China New Era People’s Party has suffered immeasurable losses due to Yan Youxin’s arrest. Why? Because this China New Era People’s Party was announced to be established and prepared on November 20th of last year by a person named Yang Maosen. During the preparation process, their party constitution only has one sentence, which is: Heaven destroys the CCP is the hard truth. Just this one sentence.

And the entire organizational system of this party is also divided into secret party members and public party members, which is also very, very meticulous. Then when the party was founded, they also hoped to have 100 party members, and they were going to hold a founding congress in the United States. It seems that they only had five or six people when they first founded the party, and then Yan Youxin joined on October 30th. Yan Youxin’s ranking in their party membership is sixth. Then you think, this is definitely at the founding elder level for the China New Era People’s Party. As a result, Yan Youxin, who joined on November 30th, was arrested by ICE a few days later. Then you think, this is definitely an immeasurable loss for the China New People’s Party, which is almost equivalent to when the CCP held its first congress, and then the foreign police came over and arrested Zhang Guotao, Mao Zedong, and Li Dazhao all at once, which is such a loss.

So you can imagine how big the blow of this incident is to the China New Era People’s Party. I saw that Yang Senmao or Yang Maosen specifically issued an announcement. He said that everyone should not believe rumors, we are now organizing the rescue of Yan Youxin, and everyone should not confuse right and wrong in this matter, and strengthen their confidence in opposing the CCP.

10. ICE Policy Shift: From the Biden Era to Trump’s Large-Scale Deportation

Then, after reading these stories, we need to answer a question: why has ICE been arresting these high-level democracy activists recently? Party and state leaders?

There is a background here. You can see that these people who have been arrested all have a common characteristic, they are mostly those who went to the United States through Ecuador’s route after 2022. Of course, most of them were people from South America who went to the United States through this route, but do you remember in 2023? That year, there were about 35,000 people from China who went to the United States through the South American route, which was a tenfold increase from the previous year. So at that time, many Chinese people entered the United States through this route.

Then after entering the United States, the general procedure I just mentioned: he first goes to the immigration bureau to be arrested, locked up in the immigration bureau’s detention center, and then goes through a terrifying interview. Then during the terrifying interview, these people have to apply for political asylum in the United States. After the asylum seekers apply, the Biden administration will generally release them from a humanitarian perspective. After these people are released, they can get a white card to work in the United States, and then they wait for the immigration court to open. Because there are many cases of detention, this process is often very long, and they are detained for several years. Didn’t Linghu Changbing say? He went in 22 or 23, and his scheduling date was scheduled for 27. So during this process, they worked.

But ICE at that time stipulated that they should get a form called Form 350. This Form 350 said: “You people, after you are released, you must report to ICE regularly.” Reporting to ICE is actually to determine whether to deport you. But during the Biden era, generally speaking, the deportation of these illegal immigrants was conditional, and most of these people committed crimes in the United States, and when you reported, they directly arrested you and locked you up in an immigration prison to deport you.

But as everyone knows, isn’t Trump going to take office in 2025? After Trump takes office, he has a very important policy: to deport illegal immigrants on a large scale. He has a very important policy shift here: he believes that these people are illegal when they enter the United States, for example, you came in by crossing the wall, or by walking the line, you can’t apply for so-called asylum in the United States, you have to apply outside the country. So everyone has seen that ICE is now enforcing the law domestically in the United States, and is starting to arrest people on a large scale, right? And the United States is not giving these people a budget after enacting this law, and the conflicts that occurred in Minnesota some time ago, aren’t they all for this reason?

In addition to the open conflicts, ICE has a very important policy shift: it has begun to target these illegal immigrants who report to ICE. You think I can’t catch illegal immigrants on the street, right? Then this group of people who have to report to ICE regularly, aren’t you just throwing yourself into the net? So since May and June of last year, the US ICE has begun to directly detain many illegal immigrants who report to ICE, and put them in immigration prisons. People like Linghu Changbing, Chen Weijie, and Yan Youxin are mostly like this. Chen Weijie seemed to have been arrested because his employer asked him to pick up a package in a place where ICE strictly enforces the law, and he was caught by ICE and thrown into an ICE prison.

11. The Psychology of Luck and the Lack of Lawyers

So recently, I saw some Chinese lawyers in the United States saying that you should be especially careful when you go to report to ICE, and it’s best to have a lawyer accompany you. But I estimate that the party and state leaders of these democracy movements are not very well-off financially. Why? Because you know that you have to spend money to find a lawyer to accompany you. US lawyers are very expensive, and it may cost hundreds of US dollars per hour to accompany you. And lawyers deal with those ICE officials, so these high-level figures of the democracy movement may not have been willing to spend this money.

Perhaps in their view: first, they are so fiercely anti-communist, right, as political dissidents. Second, there is also some media exposure, and they also have some fame. And there is also a very important title, what Chinese Democratic Party, you think, this is called the Minister of the Party History and Regulations Department, and that is actually almost at the same level as Rubio, and you have to weigh it when you arrest them. Another thing is that they are in the United States, and they believe that they are law-abiding and have not committed any crimes, so most of them have a psychology of luck.

Many, many people from South America are criminals who came to the United States. Then Trump thinks that he is a criminal in South America, and he is also a criminal when he comes to the United States, I think this is reasonable. You see, they are arresting these days, ICE is not arresting any legal immigrants, or they are not arresting these Chinese illegal immigrants who are applying for asylum, they are arresting illegal immigrants with criminal records. As a result, Trump didn’t care about that now, no matter what anti-communist or not, as long as they are illegal immigrants, they will be arrested. So under this background, from the second half of last year to now, seven or eight high-level figures at the party and state leader level of the overseas democracy movement have been arrested by ICE, and they have all been thrown into ICE’s prisons, and they are now waiting for deportation.

12. The Loopholes of Political Asylum: From Persecution to Desperate Anti-Communism

The whole story is roughly like this. Then I will talk about my own views.

Then the political asylum in the United States has a big loophole. Because it has two levels of asylum: the first level is that you are in China, for example, you are persecuted, you run to the United States, and then I provide you with asylum. This is one situation, which is actually a very important original intention of political asylum, which is a shelter channel designed for those autocratic countries and those political dissidents.

Another channel is that you are in China, although you did not engage in anti-communist activities, but when you come to the United States, you start to engage in very intense anti-communist activities, then once you return to China, the Communist Party will definitely deal with you. For this reason, you can also apply for political asylum. But the second reason, you can see, it definitely has some loopholes. Because some people may not be very anti-communist in China, but when they come to the United States, they start to desperately oppose the CCP. Is this desperate anti-communism because he really wants to oppose the CCP, or because he can get US immigration status through political asylum?

Everyone knows that it is very difficult to immigrate to the United States through regular channels. But after you go through the walking line, after a terrifying interview, then you can get political asylum. That is still relatively easy. So in fact, in this process, a group of people from various democracy movement organizations have gradually formed, engaging in intense anti-communist behavior, and to a large extent, their motives are not so simple. Do you say how anti-communist they are, and whether there is this kind of idealistic color? I believe there must be some in the middle. But there must be a large amount of motivation for obtaining immigration status and transferring status in the middle.

13. The Truth of Fragmentation: Title Distribution and Immigration Brokerage

Why are there so many overseas democracy movement organizations in the United States that are fragmented? The purpose of fragmentation is because it can give everyone more important titles. For example, you are the Chinese Democratic Party, I am called the Chinese Democratic Action Party, I am called the China New People’s Party, I am called the Chinese Human Rights Protection Alliance. Then you hang a vice-chairman, you hang a general convener, then this title is very big. It makes people feel that you are a very important person. But in reality, the people in the US immigration authorities have gradually seen through it.

These organizations themselves, many of them, in the long-term operation in the United States, have also become an intermediary organization specializing in immigration for everyone.

The Chinese Human Rights Protection Alliance, their chairman’s surname is Jin, and she is a woman. “The Communist Party is forcing people to die. But if people pass this hurdle and are not afraid of death, then let the communist bandits die. That’s right, there is really no such evil organization in the whole of humanity, these communist bandits. They don’t treat human lives as human lives at all. The communist bandits’ thoughts of the Confucius Institute, these communist bandits’ special agent agencies are fully promoting the so-called influence of China’s highly influential and wealthy countries in the elementary, middle, and high schools in the United States.”

Chairman Jin’s impassioned speech in the headquarters, you see, during the speech, there is a slogan written on the wall called “Jin Yao’s Job Agency”. In other words, this Chinese Human Rights Protection Alliance, in addition to opposing the CCP, also introduces jobs to everyone. You see, this one-stop service is quite good.
