“Chinese people specialize in deceiving Chinese people”

This is the conclusion people draw from the Wang Xing incident.

Although it’s not new, it still makes many people feel puzzled and angry:

Why do Chinese people specialize in deceiving Chinese people, even though they are fellow countrymen?

Fellow countrymen are your lies

The answer is actually very simple, you might not believe it when I say it.

Why do Chinese people specialize in deceiving Chinese people? Because Chinese people are easy to deceive.

Then why don’t foreigners deceive Chinese people? Because Chinese people are not easy to deceive.

I know you’re dizzy, but don’t be dizzy first.

Why are Chinese people easy to deceive? Because we speak the same language, share the same culture, and have the same national identity.

When two Chinese people meet overseas, even if they don’t know each other, as long as they speak Chinese, they are like seeing brothers.

In contrast, foreigners don’t have this advantage.

If the other person opens their mouth, with a West Coast accent, and eleven out of ten sentences are exposed, can you believe it?

Please, fraud emphasizes high efficiency and low risk, of course, you have to target your own people.

Not only Chinese people are like this, foreigners are also like this.

For example, India’s religious fraud, Latin America’s immigration fraud, and South Africa’s financial fraud all target their own people.

This has been the case since ancient times.

Do you think those black slaves in the slave trade were captured by Europeans themselves? It was the chiefs who marked the price of their fellow countrymen and sold them in bulk.

So, it’s normal for your own people to harm your own people.

You think the identity of your fellow countrymen is your umbrella, but in the eyes of the swindlers, that is exactly your death warrant.

When countrymen meet, they strip each other bare

As the saying goes, be wary of strangers, and be wary of both sides with acquaintances.

These are all lessons learned from blood and tears, in other words, they have been deceived and are afraid of being deceived.

Although swindlers are everywhere, both at home and abroad, but to be honest, we are indeed exceptionally talented in this regard.

Let’s talk about the domestic situation.

Whether it’s financial investment, education and training, online shopping, medical care, or food safety, academic research, human resources, the marriage market, or real estate, high technology.

Almost all industries that can be thought of are rampant with swindlers.

Even the Red Cross, an institution specifically designed to “help their own people” and with a halo of justice, can play tricks.

So that when people mention it, the first impression is to extort money.

It goes without saying abroad.

When you go abroad or are preparing to go abroad, you will inevitably receive such a piece of advice: abroad, the least trustworthy people are Chinese.

It is conceivable that being tricked by your own people at home, and being deceived by your own people after finally going abroad, anyone will have their trust collapse.

Once social trust collapses, it is bound to be sensitive to internal integrity issues.

Today I heard that Chinese people deceived Chinese people, and the news the next day was still Chinese people deceiving Chinese people.

Over time, wouldn’t it make people feel that Chinese people specialize in deceiving Chinese people?

Misunderstanding of collectivism

After the Wang Xing incident, I saw such a sigh in my circle of friends:

“Unbelievable, Chinese people who advocate collectivism would not hesitate to harm their fellow countrymen, has the rites and music collapsed?”

It is obvious that in his view, it is not surprising that fellow countrymen harm each other to anyone, but it is puzzling and infuriating when it happens to Chinese people.

After all, a nation that advocates collectivism and emphasizes unity, mutual help is the “kindness in the bones”.

To go a step further, even if you can’t lend a hand, you shouldn’t take advantage of the plight of your fellow countrymen and shamelessly calculate.

I think many people hold this view. But I have to say, this is really a big misunderstanding.

In fact, collectivism never talks about mutual help, it only talks about individuals serving the collective, and collective interests above all else.

Even if it emphasizes unity, its core is to maintain order.

This is like the traditional virtues that Chinese people often talk about and enjoy.

We mistakenly believe that we have created it, which is equivalent to possessing it, but we ignore that these precepts are born to govern others, not ourselves.

The essence of swindlers

Infertile soil cannot produce a lush forest, this is an undeniable truth.

In a jungle society where resource allocation is unfair, the rules of the game are distorted, competition has no lower limit, involution is everywhere, trust is precarious, and moral incentives are weak, mutual harm is the main theme.

If you have to find a form of existence for mutual help, it can only be, such as rent-seeking, collusion, and so on.

So, there is no such thing as Chinese people specializing in deceiving Chinese people.

Only people outside the rules deceive people bound by the rules; people who do not abide by the rules deceive people who abide by the law; people who are protected deceive people who are not protected; people with power deceive people without power.
