The seal was affixed by Xinghe County Zhongyu Gas Co., Ltd., because the user’s home had both a gas stove and a wood-fired stove in the same room, posing a safety hazard.
It is worth noting that the seal was affixed in August of this year, and it is unknown whether this family has removed the seal by now.
However, the company’s staff were very confident, saying that the practice of affixing the seal was in accordance with industry standards. Users could remove either the wood-fired stove or the gas stove, and choose freely, but the user has not rectified it so far.

First, it is understandable that the gas company is worried about accidents caused by dual fire sources and is afraid of taking responsibility.
But the problem is, you can completely shut off the gas, why seal the wood-fired stove?
You keep saying that you can “choose freely” between a wood-fired stove and a gas stove, but you sealed the wood-fired stove, where is the right to choose?
Choose a gas stove, or choose to starve?
Second, a gas company, at most a state-owned enterprise, where does it get the right to enforce the law?
In a society ruled by law, are the national law enforcement agencies just eating and doing nothing? Does a company have the right to enforce the law?
Gas companies can and have the responsibility to conduct safety inspections of gas facilities. If safety hazards are found, they can require users to rectify them. If they are not rectified, they can also stop the gas supply in accordance with the contract. Furthermore, gas companies can also assist law enforcement agencies in conducting investigations and handling matters, providing technical support and evidence.
However, a company has no right to seal the wood-fired stove of ordinary people. That is a power only law enforcement agencies have.

The most ridiculous thing is that when the “Huashang Daily” Dafeng News reporter went to inquire about “whether the gas company has law enforcement power”, multiple departments in Xinghe County all said they were not clear.
Xinghe County Government does not know whether the gas company has law enforcement power, Xingtai Municipal Government’s government service hotline does not know whether the gas company has law enforcement power, Xinghe County Government Affairs Hotline also does not know whether the gas company has law enforcement power, and the Housing and Construction Bureau, which manages the gas company, cannot be reached by phone…
Even simple questions that AI knows have become a problem in Xinghe County and Xingtai City. It’s a huge absurdity and a joke.
The news says that an insider told the reporter that he asked the gas company, and they said that this (sealing the wood-fired stove) is the power given to them by the regulations.
Perhaps, the gas company is the one telling the truth. It is possible that the relevant departments have given them the power to affix seals, and only then do they dare to be so unscrupulous and righteous.
