辇辇|Instead of letting “Kong Yiji” take off his long gown, it’s better to let the “Emperor” take off his new clothes first!

Kong Yiji, a character from textbooks, should have been done with us after the exams. But recently, many people, dragging their weary bodies, lying in bed, thinking of the present plight, the plight of tomorrow, and the plight of the days to come, suddenly realized: aren’t they just Kong Yiji!

Self-deprecating, finding joy in hardship, it’s none of anyone else’s business, but for some reason, it pricked the nerves of certain people. And these people have a lot of say, and you have to listen to what they say. They sternly criticized Kong Yiji, roughly meaning: the root of Kong Yiji’s poverty and misery is that ragged gown, and they called for taking off the gown and becoming a short-clothed gang.

In fact, this call has some truth, because this gown is indeed quite tattered. But although this gown is tattered, it is the most decent coat that many people have bought at a high price. How can it be said to be taken off, and it is too unkind to let it be taken off with a commanding air.

First, why is the gown so tattered!

First of all, since the expansion of universities, the value of academic qualifications has been constantly depreciating, from the pride of heaven to the difficulty of employment, this gown is getting more and more tattered. From the early 2000s to 2016, because of the open environment and the continuous growth of economic scale, college students could barely be digested. But in recent years, because everyone knows the reason, there are more and more college students, but fewer and fewer job opportunities, and naturally there is idleness.

Secondly, the idleness of university classrooms makes it difficult for students to have a skill, which also makes this gown more and more tattered. Nowadays, there are too many so-called majors in universities, this management, that management… basically, they don’t learn anything. Although other majors can teach some knowledge, the knowledge taught is also irrelevant to the actual situation. Compared with when they entered school, most college students, when they graduate, may only learn some “exquisite mischief”, and the rest is the growing years. Don’t tell me about the feelings of the university, “The so-called university, not the building, but the master”, that was the era of college students being few and far between. Nowadays, college students are everywhere, almost the same as technical workers, then university education should aim at employment.

Secondly, the gown is the most decent coat that the masses have bought at a high price. How can it be said to be taken off!

For a person at the bottom, studying is a matter of spending money, time, and effort. Not only is it expensive, but it also takes up the entire youth and takes a detour, and then goes through the torment of five years of college entrance examination and three years of simulation, becoming a small town problem solver, and then passing all kinds of exams, only then do they have academic qualifications, and only then do they have the present day of not being able to find a job wearing a tattered “gown”.

The academic qualifications obtained at a great price, others look down on, but they cannot but cherish. Besides, people from the bottom, besides academic qualifications, are left with “poverty”. Therefore, the tattered gown is the biggest reluctance and the only dignity of the Kong Yijis, how can it be said to be taken off.

Moreover, taking off the gown and running naked like Xiangzi the Camel is still a poor life. Do you think the takeaway industry is easy to do? Braving the severe cold and heat, running around, but without any guarantee, what you earn is the real naked running money.

Furthermore, it is too unkind to let it be taken off with a commanding air

Looking back at that time, in the middle school classroom, the teacher said to us: it was the feudal imperial examination system that harmed Kong Yiji, and the article was intended to criticize the dark old society. Under the guidance of the teacher, not only “Kong Yiji”, “Camel Xiangzi”, “Lin’s Shop”, etc., including almost all works including “Dream of the Red Chamber” have the same effect, all criticizing the evil old society.

But when we are far away from the teacher and also far away from the “old society”, we find that many literary works are actually rooted in your side. They have multiple attributes and can be seen differently by different people.

Don’t go on a high level, if you reread “Kong Yiji”, you will find: the criticism of Kong Yiji all comes from the onlookers, and Mr. Lu Xun’s positive description of Kong Yiji, although showing his pedantry, is not without warmth. When telling the young man how to write the word “hui” in four ways, and when giving the children aniseed beans, Kong Yiji is both childlike and kind, much stronger than those onlookers.

There are strong people in the world, and there must be weak people, and most of them are weak people. The reason why a writer can be great is not because he can sing the praises of the strong, but because he can pay attention to the weak. Kong Yiji, Xianglin’s Wife, Camel Xiangzi… are all weak. That’s right, they all have various shortcomings, but who doesn’t have shortcomings. In the final analysis, their tragic encounters are all tragedies of social injustice.

Writers pay attention to the weak, and those in power and those with a voice should pay more attention to the weak and care for the weak. Only when the living conditions of the weak are changed is the progress of society and the display of national strength.

Blaming the plight of the Kong Yijis on the gown and condemning them is really unkind. It is said that monks are compassionate, but I think that those in power and those with a voice should also learn from monks, get out of their own small circles, think more about the people, and be compassionate.

At present, speaking of Kong Yiji’s gown, I am reminded of a famous coat, which is the emperor’s new clothes. Because of a stupid lie, the emperor was running naked, but pretended to be wearing a magnificent new suit, and the officials and the people also lied, singing praises for this non-existent new suit. But the fake is fake, and it will be exposed one day. When a child exposed the illusion, more and more people came out to tell the truth, and the rest was the emperor’s embarrassment and the awakening of the people.

The economy is down, and the employment situation is severe. Instead of letting Kong Yiji take off his gown, it is better to let the emperor take off his new clothes first!
