“The Course of Reform” is the memoir of Zhao Ziyang, the former General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, published by New Century Press in Hong Kong on May 29, 2009, with the subtitle “Complete Recording, Restoring History”. Its English title is “The Secret Journal of Zhao Ziyang”.
The English translation of “The Course of Reform”, “Prisoner of the State: The Secret Journal of Premier Zhao Ziyang”, was published on May 13th.
The book was published in Taiwan on June 8, 2009, by China Times Publishing, with the title “Prisoner of the State: The Secret Recording of Zhao Ziyang”. Its English title is “Prisoner of the State”.
