Bamboo Doesn’t Fall | Encouraging and destroying at the same time is a very bad “trend”!

Let me talk about two things that I find quite interesting and also quite ironic.

The first thing is the situation where someone buys a house and is blocked by the property management during renovation. This is actually not uncommon. Some property management companies have very strong backing, and the owners can’t get rid of them, so they naturally act domineering. The materials and equipment you use for renovation must be purchased from places they designate, allowing them to make a profit. Otherwise, you won’t even be allowed to enter the community.

The recent media reports are just like this. The owner bought windows himself and brought them into the community for installation, but was blocked by the property management. The owner got angry and brought in several men to forcibly move the windows in. The property management held onto the windows and wouldn’t let go, resulting in the windows and the people being moved together.

Although the follow-up report of this incident only stated that “the owner did not follow the plan for the windows set by the property management”, which led to the security guards blocking their entry into the community. But in fact, in more similar situations, it is basically the property management seeking additional benefits, earning the price difference from the middlemen, and infringing on the rights of the owners.

Let me give you an example. In a report I wrote last October, in Shangqiu, Henan, there was an incident where the owner did not buy windows from the designated merchant as required by the property management, resulting in several security guards holding onto the windows and not letting them enter the community. At that time, the owner couldn’t “call in several men”, so the matter could only be reported in the news for help, instead of forcibly moving them in.

The owner clearly stated, “The one designated by the property management is over 1000, but I can get it outside for just over 500, they are too greedy.”

Recently, there have been many news reports about mortgage defaults and banks rushing to sell off non-performing assets, “cutting off the supply of second-hand houses”. Nowadays, people’s willingness to buy houses is already very low, and they still allow some local power departments to act as the backing of the property management, supporting these guys to exploit and extort like a mafia, which is simply a disguised way of further reducing people’s desire to buy houses.

Some people who have urgent needs may have to buy a house for their children’s schooling or for marriage. As a result, seeing such a shameless appearance, they might just give up buying. Then they don’t need to get married, and they don’t need to have children… There is no need for any ulterior propaganda, just a one-stop service, self-destruction, and a vicious cycle.

The second news is also a recent message. I was very busy on the weekend and took a picture after seeing it, but didn’t have time to chat: the school requires parents to fill in “social resources that can be provided.”

What does it mean? Just look at the area outlined in red solid lines in the report. Parents are asked to fill in: What skills are you good at that you can participate in various activities at school? What professional resources can you provide? For example, doctors, police officers, lawyers…

If you don’t have any skills and don’t have a job with a position, seeing their shocking faces, how many people would dare to have children? Wouldn’t they be “despised” to the bottom of their shoes and then stepped on to produce excrement?

The subsequent explanation is also a common one, “The staff did not understand the spirit of the superior’s documents and have been criticized”. Isn’t this funny? Does it mean that the “spirit” of the superior’s documents depends on whether or not it is on public opinion? Moreover, what does objective information transmission have to do with “spirit”? It’s enough to just say “prepare to eat”, but you have to say “I just finished pooping”, and then let the subordinates guess that you are hungry now because you just finished pooping. Is this a lack of oxygen or a lack of common sense?

Therefore, such “explanations” are, in a nutshell, nonsense. Anyone with a head on their neck wouldn’t believe it.

The French classical writer La Rochefoucauld said it well: Hypocrisy is the last bit of “courtesy” that evil shows to good.

This explanation is nothing more than wanting to retain a little bit of decency after being exposed. But in essence, it is full of shamelessness. It is even simply too lazy to pretend, and it is necessary to distinguish between different levels, and to treat people differently. Otherwise, why ask parents for the “social resources” they can provide?

And the most obvious problem with their logic is, “Can these resources really be provided?”

In other words, even if according to their requirements, the parent is a police officer, shouldn’t the police officer be the so-called “social resources that can be provided” in their mouths?

The property management wants to play the role of an emperor, and the school wants to check the “social status”. These departments, which should have served the people, have begun to study how to divide people into different levels, how to reach into other people’s homes, and how to lose face more thoroughly. In the past, they at least needed to cover up, but now, it’s good, they don’t cover up or act anymore, and it won’t be them who are being tormented.

In conclusion, you will find that it is them who want people to do something, and it is also them who destroy people’s willingness to do something. You know, the more you want something, the further it gets from you. The tighter you hold on, the faster you lose it.

Under this contradictory picture, repeatedly tormenting, I don’t know what kind of result they are waiting for. I am very curious, if you bury a vegetable seed, and always fantasize that it can grow into a towering tree, is this possible?

If anyone thinks it’s possible, then he must be hallucinating, or someone has created a hallucination for him.
