War countries cannot buy travel insurance
Recently, social order in Russia has been unstable, and there have been many travel safety accidents. In the past week alone, there have been two bus accidents involving Chinese tourists, resulting in 4 deaths and 9 injuries. Chinese tourists in Russia face serious safety threats.
At the same time, Russia is at war with Ukraine, and cities within Russia, including Moscow, are at risk of drone attacks from Ukraine at any time, making it difficult to guarantee the safety of tourists’ lives and property and their itineraries.
As the Lunar New Year approaches, the WeChat public account “Constructive Opinions” reminds Chinese tourists to avoid traveling to Russia recently, and reminds Chinese tourists already in Russia to pay close attention to local security conditions, as well as war, weather, and traffic safety information, to enhance their safety awareness and strengthen self-protection. In case of an emergency, please do not undermine the great situation of traditional friendship between China and Russia.
Appendix:

On January 28, a car carrying tourists overturned on the ice of Lake Baikal in Russia, resulting in the death of a 75-year-old female Chinese tourist and minor injuries to 4 Chinese tourists.

On the evening of January 22, a tourist bus carrying Chinese tourists collided with a truck in the Primorsky Krai region of Russia. There were 14 people on the bus, including 3 deaths and 5 injuries.
On December 28 last year, Ukraine attacked Moscow with drones, temporarily paralyzing air traffic in the Russian capital, grounding hundreds of flights and stranding thousands of passengers repeatedly at the airport before the start of the national holiday.
It is understood that due to the state of war in Russia, major insurance companies do not accept Russian travel insurance business. Tourists cannot receive insurance compensation for personal injury, property loss, or itinerary delays during their travel in Russia.
A constructive suggestion:
Life is precious, don’t travel to Russia.
