
1730 positions received nearly 1.2 million resumes, CNNC’s spring campus recruitment is popular this year.
On the evening of April 6th, CNNC Recruitment responded by saying that they appreciate the attention of the netizens to CNNC Recruitment and the love of the students for the nuclear industry, and stated that the number of people expected to be hired in this spring recruitment is about 8,000.
Previously, due to the publication of “We received 1,196,273 resumes” on the public account, CNNC Recruitment was controversial and was criticized by netizens, and then deleted the article by itself.
Why did an article published by a large state-owned enterprise’s recruitment public account attract such a public opinion storm? Mainly because the title of this article is too much like a congratulatory message.
Recruiting 8,000 people and receiving nearly 1.2 million resumes, at first glance, it is equivalent to 150 people competing for one position. The intensity of this competition is no less than that of some local public examinations.
However, each fresh graduate can submit 20 positions in parallel. The public account of CNNC Recruitment also mentioned “a total of 425,284 applicants”, that is to say, the actual number of applicants is only one-third of the number of resumes.
But more than 400,000 people competing for 8,000 positions, the intensity of the competition is also very high, which is enough to show the attractiveness of CNNC. Thinking of the approximately 12.22 million fresh graduates this year, plus the graduates from previous years who have not found jobs, it makes people worry about the job-seeking young people.

Many netizens in the comment section reflected that although CNNC is a large state-owned enterprise, because the treatment is average and the working environment is relatively harsh, many of those who went there more than 10 years ago were junior college students, and generally university students looked down on it. Some positions in remote areas often have to significantly lower the requirements in order to barely recruit people.
I don’t know much about CNNC, let me talk about what I know, a state-owned enterprise that has a lot of the same business as CNNC – CGN.
When I graduated from university 15 years ago, CGN came to our college to recruit people and asked the college leaders to name the boys. There were two boys in our class, they just gave a resume and had a brief chat, and they were taken away.
My two classmates, while others were busy looking for jobs and taking the postgraduate entrance examination, one played games all day long, and the other was addicted to e-books, and their state was a bit “lying flat”. Many female students in the college who were well-prepared and serious about finding a job didn’t understand at the time, how much did CGN lack people, and recruited people so casually?
These two classmates later went to Taizhou, one left after half a year, and the other resigned after more than a year.
According to their description, although they were doing clerical work, the work content was relatively boring, and the company’s location was a bit remote, the management was relatively closed, and the treatment was also average, which was really difficult for fresh graduates to stay.
I don’t know if they regret giving up their stable jobs now, but I know that CGN certainly doesn’t need to personally go to our college to recruit people now, and there is no need to worry about the people they recruit not being able to stay.
The employment competition has become increasingly fierce in recent years, and wave after wave of job seekers have entered the market, but the demand of many employers is shrinking. College students are scrambling to find a job, and those who already have offers are also worried about whether there will be other changes.

In this situation, stability has become the first choice for many college students. A report released by a recruitment website last year showed that among the factors that fresh graduates value most in job hunting, 51% of the respondents believe that “stability is the most important”, second only to “salary and benefits” which ranks first, and this proportion has shown a steady upward trend in the past few years.
Therefore, even if, as netizens said, the salary and treatment are average and the environment is relatively worse, CNNC can still attract hundreds of thousands of applicants by virtue of the advantages of state-owned enterprises, which is the advantage given to state-owned enterprises by the times.
When an enterprise lists a title like “We received 1,196,273 resumes”, it is superficially stating a fact, but in the current employment situation, it is easy to make people feel that this is treating 1.2 million resumes as a kind of capital to show off, to demonstrate its own strong attractiveness.
Tens of thousands of young people who are worried about finding a job, whether they are one of the more than 400,000 people or not, are bound to feel offended after seeing it, a sense of frustration that has nowhere to be placed –
For enterprises, this is a bright recruitment record, but for many job seekers, it is just marking themselves as a denominator again.
In the uncertain present, it is understandable for college students to seek a stable job. Compared with the graduates of previous years, they may have to put in several times the effort and endure in a longer wait. Please don’t treat their choices as a “battle report” that can be released at any time.
