Although the movement of the last century has been completely negated in the “Resolution on Certain Historical Issues of the Party Since the Founding of the People’s Republic of China” unanimously adopted at the Eleventh Central Committee’s Sixth Plenary Session, there are still some people who have been longing for the “Cultural Revolution” and want to deny the reform and opening up. These people may not be bad people, but they must be complete fools.
Zhang Zhixin’s sacrifice was on April 4, 1975, less than fifty years from today. This history is not difficult to investigate, and even some eyewitnesses are still alive.
The deeds of Zhang Zhixin have long been settled. Four years after Zhang Zhixin’s sacrifice, Liaoning Province rehabilitated her, restored her reputation, restored her party membership, and posthumously recognized her as a revolutionary martyr.
Zhang Zhixin is a hero, and the country has given her high honors. On September 25, 2019, Zhang Zhixin was awarded the honorary title of “Most Beautiful Fighter”.
However, just yesterday, I received such a message:

This is relatively polite. There are even more outrageous ones, some people even want to deny the deeds of Martyr Zhang Zhixin for the sake of the beautiful “Cultural Revolution”.
This is a message I saw in a WeChat group: “Zhang Zhixin is just a fabricated false story, a false plot…” When the words are intense, they will also accuse and verbally abuse those who tell the story of Zhang Zhixin.

And on social platforms, this kind of similar voice is not in the minority, and there is a growing trend. There are always some people with ulterior motives or who do not know the truth, beautifying the “Cultural Revolution”, and want to make the times go backwards.
This needs to arouse people’s vigilance, and if they succeed, they will pay a huge price.
I think it is necessary to tell people that in that era, there were heroes like Zhang Zhixin, as well as Yu Luoke, Zheng Xiaodan, Ding Zuxiao… They fought and sacrificed for the future of the nation.
Some people are enjoying the fruits of reform and opening up, but they are singing the praises of the Cultural Revolution. These people are purely bad, wanting to go back, wanting to mess up the country. In the movie “Hibiscus Town”, Wang Qiushe, who never forgets to knock on the broken gong and call for the “movement”, is never lacking in such people in real life.
The achievements of reform and opening up are hard-won, and today’s life is hard-won. We need to use words to warn future generations that the attempts of the “Wang Qiushe” cannot succeed.
