More than an hour after takeoff, this 60-ton Boeing 737-800 aircraft (B-1791) was cruising smoothly over Wuzhou, Guangxi. On the FDR chart, the physical state of this aircraft was perfect. CMD A autopilot was stably connected, and the aircraft was flying along the track under the precise control of the computer. The pitch angle (Pitch Angle) was maintained at a slight +2°, and the vertical load (Accel Vert) was an extremely comfortable 1.0G. The airspeed was stable at about 255 knots. On the central control panel, the fuel control switches of the two CFM56 engines were steadily in the RUN (normal operation) position.
Everything is normal
The first killing move: the unexpected “abyss push rod”

The calm was torn apart by extreme violent operations within milliseconds. At the 288960-second mark on the FDR timeline, three extremely fatal actions erupted absolutely synchronously:
- At the bottom of the chart, CMD A instantly changed to Not SELECTED, and the crisp and harsh autopilot disconnection warning sound suddenly rang out in the cockpit, and the aircraft’s control was forcibly taken back manually.
- This is the most core physical evidence of the entire air crash. On the Ctrl Col Force Pitch (control column pitch force) curve on Chart 13, the red line representing the co-pilot’s side instantly pierced a bottomless negative spike. Someone applied a violent forward force of up to 80 pounds, about 36 kilograms, to the control column.
- NTSB report page 23 clearly states: “At a cruising altitude of 29,000 feet, the fuel switches of the two engines were moved from the running position to the cut-off position.” On a Boeing 737, cutting off fuel is by no means a misoperation. It requires a person to clearly reach out and physically “pull up the limit rings on the two handles and pull them all the way back.” Pushing down the nose is to make the plane fall into the abyss, and at the same time physically cutting off the fuel of the dual engines is to completely strangle any theoretical possibility of the plane re-establishing power and leveling off. If this was a fall without resistance, the data should have bottomed out all the way. But the FDR chart revealed a shocking and extremely tragic detail: a struggle for control occurred in the cockpit.
Six seconds after the aircraft plunged vertically, the force curve on Chart 13 underwent a dramatic reversal: an extremely large positive pull spike appeared! This means that another person in the cockpit, facing extreme weightlessness, extreme physical discomfort, and the sight of the earth rushing towards them, most likely firmly stepped on the instrument panel with both feet, and frantically pulled back the control column on their side, trying to pull the nose out of the abyss.
This great rescue action briefly worked. The vertically downward nose was forcibly pulled back to around -30°. But the price was devastating. At this time, under the crazy acceleration of gravity, the airspeed of the aircraft had exceeded the upper limit of the chart, 400 knots. Forcibly leveling the nose at a supersonic speed far exceeding the design limit of the aircraft, the aerodynamics formed a terrifying pressure: Chart 11 shows that the vertical overload of the aircraft instantly soared to over 3G. The second killing move: unplug the power and fall into the blind spot

Just a few seconds after the nose was pulled up with difficulty and a glimmer of hope for survival appeared, the second violent push rod came again, and the nose that had just been raised fell again irretrievably.
The action of “cutting off the fuel” a dozen seconds ago played a role at this moment. Because the fuel was manually cut off, the two huge CFM56 engines “held back fire” silently in the face of the wind. The NTSB report wrote: When the aircraft fell to about 26,000 feet, the core speed of the engine that lost fuel dropped below the minimum power generation critical line of the generator.
With a “snap”, the entire aircraft’s main AC power grid completely crashed. The flight data recorder (FDR) of the Boeing 737 does not have a backup battery. At the 288980-second mark on the chart, the FDR was forcibly “unplugged”, and all the lines instantly turned into scattered points and returned to nothingness. This shattered the claim online that “the plane disintegrated after hitting something at an altitude of 20,000 feet”. The FDR is blind, but the ADS-B transponder, which is powered by an independent DC battery, is still sending the last desperate coordinates into space. In a state of complete power loss and power outage, this 100-ton aircraft plummeted from 26,000 feet to 7,400 feet in less than a minute.
However, FR24 radar captured an incredible miracle: the aircraft’s fall stopped, the nose was pulled up again, and it climbed all the way to 8,600 feet (14:22:21)! Even without any engine thrust, the indomitable opponent in the cockpit still used the huge kinetic energy accumulated by the aircraft’s ultra-high-speed dive, and through mechanical steel cables, firmly pulled up the elevator, and forcibly leveled the aircraft, and rushed up thousands of feet like a roller coaster rushing to the bottom of the valley. He was almost going to defeat death.
But the laws of physics are ruthless. After rushing up to 8,600 feet by inertia, the aircraft exhausted the last bit of speed, and the angle of attack was too large, leading to a complete stall. At 14:22:35, this huge aircraft helplessly lowered its nose and began the final irreversible vertical fall, and finally shattered in the red soil of Molang Village, Teng County, Guangxi at a terminal velocity close to the speed of sound.
Everything was blown to ashes, but the truth was not.
The murderer thought that cutting off the power could erase everything, but he overlooked the most fatal point. Page 12 of the NTSB report reads: Unlike the FDR without a battery, the other black box of this aircraft, the CVR, which is the cockpit voice recorder, has an independent 10-minute backup power supply (RIPS).
Even if the entire aircraft loses power at 20,000 feet, even if it is smashed into the ground 20 meters deep, and the pins of the circuit board are broken, under the extreme microscopic repair of Chinese and American experts, it still handed in the most perfect answer: The audio of the four channels was 100% extracted, and the sound quality rating was the highest level of “Excellent”. This black box has not been made public yet.
